PERFORMANCE SUMMARY
Difficult retail conditions set against
an uncertain macro-economic backdrop
contributed to a challenging year,
however it also represented a year
of change during which: (a) a range
of initiatives were implemented to
support franchisee profitability, (b) a
restructuring program was undertaken
resulting in significant cost savings,
and (c) the Group simplified its
operations to support future growth.
FY26 performance was influenced by a number
of factors including:
— Decline in domestic franchise outlets (including from the
company store strategic reset) and challenging trading
conditions for a number of the Group’s brands
— Decisions to support franchise partners through delaying
coffee price rise increases until 2H26, despite higher
coffee green bean input prices
— Implementation of restructuring and cost reduction
initiatives across the Group, including staff redundancies
and a reduction in discretionary expenses
— Operating net cashflows impacted by company stores
subject to the company store reset strategy and reduced
domestic performance as a result of challenging trading
conditions.
These factors occurred in the context of other
items of progress for the Group including:
— Implementation of key turnaround initiatives including
cost rationalisation, operational enhancements to
improve supply chain and field team effectiveness
and structural change to a brand-aligned model across
operations and marketing
— Opening of the Türkiye roasting, supply and support hub
— Renewal of the Group debt facility out to August 2027.
1.
Underlying Revenue is a non-IFRS measure not subject to audit. Underlying revenue excludes restricted domestic marketing fund revenues and
revenues from company stores which will or have transitioned to franchise partner ownership or close.
2.
Underlying EBITDA is a non-IFRS measure not subject to audit. Underlying EBITDA excludes restricted domestic marketing fund EBITDA,

EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN’S LETTER
RETAIL FOOD GROUP — ANNUAL REPORT 2026
VI
Following a process of management renewal, FY26 saw
my return to the Executive Chairman role of Retail Food
Group. Whilst FY26 was a challenging year, we have
made significant progress through the implementation
of a transformation program, refocusing the Group’s
operations on supporting and enabling our franchise
partners with a focus on improving franchise partner
profitability, whilst simplifying the Group’s operations
to strengthen RFG for our key stakeholders.
Restructuring initiatives have been implemented to reduce
costs and simplify operations throughout the Group.
These initiatives have delivered $2.3m in cost savings in
FY26 and are expected to deliver $5-7m in annualised
savings in FY27. We have restructured the corporate head
office to reduce the number of management layers as well
as aligning our teams to our core brands to further support
our franchise partners and customers.
As part of the business re-alignment our teams met with
over one hundred domestic franchise partners in 2H26
to hear their feedback on how we can increase support
to improve their business. The support and passion of our
franchise partners is evident from those meetings and
has enabled progress across our core brands. This has
coincided with a back-to-basics marketing strategy which
is delivering a rolling pipeline of new campaigns across the
next 12-18 months. The early success of these programs
is clear by the support and excitement that has been
generated across the brands.
Retail trading conditions continued to remain challenging
in FY26 and 2H26 saw further impacts from macro-
economic and geopolitical factors. It’s been pleasing
to see the resilience of our brands through those
challenges as we begin to see the impacts of the business
improvement measures. In Gloria Jean’s we continued
the rollout of the new “Glorange” store refurbishment
strategy, with 10 stores delivered in partnership with
our franchise partners that embrace the new look; sales
across converted stores are on average 19% higher based
on the first 8 weeks of trade post refurbishment.
In June 2026 the first Firehouse Subs store launched in
Brisbane, Queensland under our agreement with RBI.
The initial results of the store have been well above
expectation. A record grand opening day performance
saw over 750 tickets served. We are excited to open more
stores through FY27 and beyond, initially focussing on
South-East Queensland.
During the year our Türkiye roasting, supply and support
hub came online giving us a gateway to service our Master
Franchise Partners across the region. The opening of the
Türkiye hub reduces the complexity in our global supply
chain and is already unlocking opportunities for our
partners to expand in both existing and new markets.
The Group also renewed its debt facility with long
standing partner Washington H. Soul Pattinson &
Company Ltd providing it with a stable funding base out
to August 2027 and enabling the Group to continue with
its turnaround strategy to improve business performance.
The Group’s net reported debt at 26 June 2026 is $26.8m.
With the key transformation program initiatives now
complete, the Board has resumed the process to appoint
a CEO to lead RFG’s next phase of execution and growth.
Former directors, David Grant and Kerry Ryan announced
their retirements during FY26. David Grant was
appointed non-executive director in September 2018,
assuming chairmanship of the Audit & Risk Management
Committee contemporaneously with his appointment
to the Board and was also Chairman of the Nominations
& Remuneration Committee. Kerry Ryan was appointed
a director in August 2015. On behalf of the Board, I would
like to thank both David and Kerry for the significant
contributions they have made during their time with RFG.
Subsequent to the end of the FY26 Jacinta Caithness
announced her retirement from the Board. Jacinta was
appointed to the Board in September 2023 and was Chair
of the International Committee. Similarly I’d like to thank
Jacinta for her notable contribution to the RFG Board.
It is also appropriate to welcome three new non-executive
directors, Mark Lindh, Abigail Cheadle and Gary
Brinkworth, each of whom brings extensive skills and
experience that are relevant to RFG’s current challenges
and business operations.
Finally, on behalf of the Board, I would like to say a thank
you to our staff, our franchise partners, our customers,
our supply partners and our loyal shareholders, who have
supported RFG through the year.
Yours Sincerely,
Peter George
Executive Chairman

FY26 BRAND HIGHLIGHTS
Strengthening the core
to drive customer growth
FY26 was focused on igniting customer
excitement and driving growth through a
pipeline of standout products, including Cronut,
Pistachio and BiscoffTM
creations alongside
seasonal campaigns across Halloween, Christmas,
Valentine’s Day, Easter and Black Friday. Donut
King also continued to amplify National Donut
Day, leveraging the occasion to reinforce its
position as the Home of the Hot Cinnamon
Donut and Australia’s leading donut retailer.
In Q4, Donut King refocused on its core
customers, core products and core brand story
to complement its seasonal campaigns. This
strategic direction strengthens our position as
the category leader in fun, affordable treats,
delivering great value and memorable customer
experiences and sets the brand up for sustainable
growth moving into FY27 and beyond.

VIII
Glorange rollout driving strategic
brand reset
Following the successful strategic brand reset initiated in
FY25, FY26 focused on bringing the Gloria Jean’s vision to
life across the network. A significant milestone has been
the rollout of the Glorange store refurbishment program,
delivered in close partnership with our franchise partners.
The refreshed store design introduces a contemporary
café environment with enhanced merchandising, digital
menu boards and a more premium customer experience
that better reflects the quality and craftsmanship of the
Gloria Jean’s brand. 10 stores have now transitioned to
the new format (including one new store opening), with
sales on converted sites increasing by over 19% for the
first 8 weeks of trade following refurbishment.
In parallel, we have continued to evolve through a
more clearly defined Gloria Jean’s beverage proposition
and simplified range to deliver an improved customer
experience.
Together, these initiatives helped drive over 9 million
customer visits in FY26 reinforcing Gloria Jean’s position
as a contemporary, premium café brand while creating a
strong platform for network growth, innovation and long-
term brand relevance.
RETAIL FOOD GROUP — ANNUAL REPORT 2026 IX
Building momentum through
customer-led innovation
Throughout FY26, Crust sharpened its focus on
core customer purchasing occasions: nights in,
shared meals and sporting moments. This insight
informed menu innovation, media investment,
creative development and local area marketing
activity, creating a more consistent and repeatable
approach. As the brand continued to refine its
positioning, Crust invested in premium product
innovation, national media partnerships and
its first television commercial in three years,
strengthening relevance with existing customers
and attracting new purchase occasions.
The increasing alignment between customer
insight, menu innovation, media investment and
brand execution sets the brand up for growth,
evidenced by sales growth across the year of 3.1%.

X
Stronger in-store execution, local
marketing tools, and growing
digital reach support long-term
network performance
Through FY26, a key focus across the network
was on re-engagement with franchise partners and
strengthening execution to drive improved sales.
A network-wide focus on operational excellence and
brand consistency, a refreshed Local Area Marketing
approach, national campaigns and product
innovation helped reposition the brand for growth.
National campaigns and product innovation to drive
customer engagement and maintain brand relevance
were key highlights, including the Dubai Choc
Croissant and Fudge & White Choc Hot Cross Buns.
Brumby’s also expanded its digital delivery presence,
seeing 60% year-on-year sales growth through this
emerging sales channel.
This reset approach has begun repositioning the
brand to look at new and innovative ways to deliver
value to customers moving forward.
RETAIL FOOD GROUP — ANNUAL REPORT 2026 XI
New stores, digital growth and
increased customer demand driving
network expansion
FY26 marked the continued growth of the Beefy’s
network, with three new stores opening and continued
improvements across digital channels. These initiatives
contributed to sales growth of 11.9% year-on-year.
Digital channels have become an increasingly important
driver of growth, with network sales through these
channels doubling compared to the prior year. Increased
promotional activity, new daypart trials, and continued
investment in third-party delivery platforms improved
visibility and conversion, supporting growth across
delivery and convenience-focused occasions.
Beyond the store and digital environment, Beefy’s
expanded its brand presence through targeted marketing
campaigns and strategic partnerships. These initiatives
increased brand reach and strengthened customer
engagement across both new and existing audiences.
This integrated approach to network expansion, digital
growth, brand building and customer activation is
expanding how, when and where customers engage
with Beefy’s. As a result, the business is improving
accessibility, generating incremental sales opportunities,
and strengthening the foundation for sustainable long-
term growth.

Australian launch sets
the foundation for growth
FY26 marked the launch of Firehouse Subs into the
Australian market. A soft launch at the end of June was
followed by the grand opening on 2 July 2026, with
the first store exceeding international performance
benchmarks for the brand. On grand opening day over
750 customers were served, surpassing the previous
international first-day record for Firehouse Subs
internationally by more than 50%.
The customer response surpassed every expectation
for the brand’s Australian debut and saw the store sell
out of several of its signature sandwiches, including
Brisket, Pastrami and Steak, with the Brisket & Cheddar
sub emerging as the clear favourite, highlighting strong
customer demand for Firehouse Subs’ signature hot
subs and premium protein-led menu.
